We are starting this blog so that Reiki practioners can have their say on what is happening with Reiki in the UK

Thank you for setting up this forum/group, I do feel it is important for genine practitioners to be able to have their say and share opinions with likeminded people. There seem to be a lot of people out there at the moment claiming to be ‘Reiki Masters’ and shouting it from the rooftops, however, when challenged some do not appear to be able to display the necessary qualifications.

I wish you lots of luck with this site and hope it attracts genuine, likeminded professionals. I have posted a link to this site on my Facebook profile to share with genuine friends from all areas.

I feel at the moment the Reiki community are a bit unhappy with some things that are happening. CPD seems to be a very contentious issue as everybody has a different view of how it should work.

In the past those of us who took Reiki seriously complied as a matter of course in the role of a practitioner. I have heard that some practitioners are upset about being made to pay for courses run by the Reikifed when all around them there are people on the internet turning Reiki into a bit of a circus!

Please let us have your views on this matter so that maybe we can help everyone to move forward and promote Reiki in the correct manner.
